La Diva is a top-quality blend of two varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The process for creating this wine starts with careful selection at the vineyard, where the optimal conditions of overripe and ripe grapes must be achieved, and it continues by ageing the wine in oak barrels for 12 months, then another 9 months in the bottle. This wine is dominated by the notes of sour cherry, roasted coffee, and dried ripe berries. La Diva is the queen of the Jakovac winery product range. A variety from continental Croatia; its origin has not been fully defined to this day. Nevertheless, this fresh wine with a well-known aroma has become a household name in Croatia and in many other countries. Graševina is the most represented white wine in this region and it garners much attention. Graševina features a variety of notes, from lighter, fresher citrusy ones, to stronger, more alcoholic, slightly honey-like ones. Graševina Jakovac is prepared as a fresh variant with a note of ageing, and the symbiosis of these two styles of production makes this wine the recognisable leader in the product range.
